Amine will volatilize continuously in the printing process, and pH value will drop continuously. In order to maintain the stability of printing, it is generally necessary to monitor the change of pH value in the printing process in time. When pH value drops below 8.5, it is better to supplement amine auxiliaries in time for adjustment. A better way is to directly add amine additives to the diluent of ink, so as to maintain the stability of pH value.
3. Viscosity:
Viscosity is the main control index in the application of water-based ink, and it is a property that affects the flow of fluid. Because viscosity directly affects the ink transfer and printing quality, it is very important to control the viscosity of ink. In the printing process, the viscosity of water-based ink is too low, which will cause some disadvantages, such as color lightening, dot enlargement, uneven ink transmission, etc.; if the viscosity is too high, the transfer performance of ink is poor, and it is easy to appear dirty plate, paste plate and other problems.
4. Drying rate:
Ink drying performance refers to the time required for ink drying after transferring to substrate, which is also one of the important indicators to measure ink quality and performance. Especially for ink, drying performance is a very important quality index. The drying performance of ink mainly depends on the resin release performance, drying temperature, hot air temperature, air volume and humidity.
Better ink is able to achieve slow drying on the plate, but transfer to the substrate and dry quickly after hot air. If drying on the plate is too fast, it will cause dot blocking, resulting in the loss of image and text of the printed matter. If the drying speed of the ink is too slow, it will be dragged on the guide roller, and in the case of multi-color overprint, it will cause the back sticky dirty.
