Matters needing attention when printing with coating water slurry

The key to the preparation of paint water slurry is the quality of adhesive. When preparing dark color slurry, the high-quality adhesive with high solid content should be selected. It can increase the firmness. The hand feeling conditioner can ensure the color fastness (rubbing fastness, soaping fastness, scrubbing fastness, etc.). The polymer particle diameter of high quality adhesive should be controlled at 0.2um-1um, and the particle size should be uniform. Due to the dry weather and low humidity in summer, the water slurry is easy to be blocked. In order to reduce the drying speed of the water slurry and prevent the early drying of the printing slurry, a proper amount of hygroscopic agent can be added to the printing slurry to keep the surface of the water slurry wet and free of peeling. The general amount of hygroscopic agent is 3%. The excessive amount of hygroscopic agent will affect the fastness. This kind of situation is often encountered in the printing process. At the beginning of printing, the printing pulp has good fluidity, but the printing pulp thickens after normal operation time, especially in the size with color fixing agent, because the printing pattern area is small and the size stays in the net for a long time. The water in the pulp volatilizes, the viscosity becomes larger, and the fluidity becomes worse. Adding 5% ammonia in the printing pulp can solve the problem.
