The difference between water slurry and glue slurry
Release time:2020-03-02 11:10:28 Editor:Guangdong Milando Chemical Technology Co., Ltd.
Printing includes reactive printing and pigment printing, and pigment printing includes water and offset printing. Generally, the hand feeling of the finished product printed by water slurry printing is slightly worse than that of the active printing, while the hand feeling of the finished product printed by glue slurry printing is very hard, which is generally used for local decoration on clothing, such as chest flower, sleeve flower, etc.
1. Water slurry printing. It is the earliest printing technology. The material used for printing patterns is water-based paste, similar to the pigment or dye used in painting. Through the technical treatment of the printing screen, the slurry with patterns can penetrate into the fabric, while the slurry without patterns can not penetrate, so that the patterns can be printed on the fabric. Water slurry printing is one of the most basic printing processes in the screen printing industry. It can be used in cotton, polyester, hemp, and almost all light background fabrics. Its working principle is similar to dyeing, but the difference is that it "dyes" a certain area of the fabric into the color required by the flower position. Therefore, this process can not be used in deep background fabric. The biggest advantage of water slurry printing is its wide application, good flower position fastness and good effect at relatively low price. The limitation of water jet printing is that it can not be used on all dark fabrics.
2. Glue printing. Latex printing is widely used in clothing. Its advantages are that it can produce a special texture effect, with elasticity, good hand feel, and can mask light color on deep background color. A special chemical gel is applied to the pulp printing process with a high degree of seamless mixing with the dye. The dye is firmly adhered to the fabric through the medium of the gel. The paste printing process overcomes the limitations of the water paste printing. It is suitable for printing with various color depth and material. It can print on cotton, linen, viscose, polyester, nylon, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride and all kinds of fiber blended fabrics. It can also be used for printing on leather, leatherette and other materials. It can be used for fluorescent printing, ink-jet printing, blue flower printing, electrostatic flocking printing and other printing processes. The biggest advantage of latex printing process is wide application, beautiful color and high reduction degree, but its printing process is more complex than that of water slurry printing process, and its cost is relatively high.
